Planner automates:
- SMS copy and EHR coding to match every type of investigation a patient needs
- Links for any questionnaires or secure files. If a patient needs multiple questionnaires, Planner puts them in 1 link to keep it simple for the patient!
- Scheduling a reminder SMS 7 days later
Step 1
To recall patient, click the blue Recall button.

Step 2
Preview Planner's suggested recall for this patient. You'll be able to see the types of Investigations, Questionnaires and Reviews that have been automatically selected by Planner. You'll also be able to click Preview on the questionnaires to see the questions we'll send to the patient.

Step 3
You can also set up a Hero Health appointment booking link that you can customise by type, location, and clinician. Your appointment booking link will then be added automatically to the SMS.

If you don't want to include a booking link, simply click the toggle to remove the link.
Click Continue.
Step 4
You'll see some automatic SMS copy that you can edit.

If the patient doesn't book an appointment or investigation relevant to their recall, they will automatically get a reminder SMS 7 days later.
Click Next.
Step 5
Review your sequence, then click Start sequence.

Well done!
The first SMS is sent to the patient immediately, and the sequence begins. You will see the recall attempt logged on the patient's tile like this. These recall attempts will be automatically coded into your practice's EHR.

To view a sequence, navigate to a patient’s profile under the Recall tab and select the active sequence. You can see when the sequence was started and what was recalled.
