Log a recall from outside Planner

Planner will automatically update investigations and reviews tiles if you code a recall attempt in your EHR. But you can also log it directly in Planner, if you've attempted recall for example by phone or letter.

Step 1

To log a manual recall for a patient, find the patient you want on the table and click to open the patient's profile. Click Recall.

Step 2

On this page, you will see two options: Start SMS sequence and Log a manual recall. Click Log manual recall.

Step 3

Fill out the short form to determine what you have recalled for this patient. You can select Reviews and Investigations, and both at once. Other information you can add are:

  1. Recall method - This is how you completed or attempted said recall. The options are SMS, phone, letter, verbal, and email.
  2. Date of recall
  3. Notes
  4. Appointment - This checkbox can be checked on if an appointment has been booked for the selected recall options.

Step 4

Once complete, click Save. These recalls will be automatically coded into your practice's EHR.
